A kupuk sled was a type of sled used on the Great Glacier.[1]
Description[]
A kupuk sled was constructed similar to a dog sled. However, it was wider, at about 3 to 4 feet (0.91 to 1.2 meters) wide and shorter, at about 5 to 7 feet (1.5 to 2.1 meters) in length. It was pulled by a single kupuk and could transport loads of up to 1,000 pounds (450 kilograms).[1]
