- In 987 DR, the survivors of an ill-fated dwarven mining expedition finally escaped the Underdark, 115 days after the Rockfire disaster, and emerged in the harsh Itzcala desert in Maztica.[1]
- In 1374 DR, a Merchant's League caravan of weapons, accompanied by Dabron Sashenstar, left Hluthvar for Iriaebor. The Iron Throne's control over the arms trade in the area was further challenged when Fzoul Chembryl of Zhentil Keep proclaimed that all such trade in the "instruments of tyranny" fell within the sphere of the Church of Bane.[2]
- In 1375 DR, the Thayan Zulkir of Necromancy, Szass Tam made a bid to become ruler of Thay but was thwarted by the other Zulkirs.[3]
