The Lake of the Winter Spirits, also known more simply as the Lake of Spirits, was the largest body of water found on the island of Sahu in east Zakhara in 1367 DR.[note 1][1][2]
Geography[]
The bottomless lake was found near the center of the island due south of the town of Jinutt. The lake was surrounded on several sides by the sprawling mountains of the Vishap's Spine.[1][3]
Description[]
The waters of the lake were inky black.[4]
Rumors & Legends[]
The ruined fortress of Nycopolis resting on the lake's shores was rumored to spring to life with spirits each year after the passing of the winter solstice.[3]
