Lanterns of revealing were enchanted hooded lanterns that allowed the user to dispel invisibility.[5]
Description[]
Lanterns of revealing were regular hooded lanterns in appearance.[5]
Powers[]
With a spoken command word, these lanterns were lit with magics that purged invisibility off of all things and creatures that were illuminated.[5] Lanterns of revealing required oil to burn and could sustain its flames up to six hours fro one pint of it. These lanterns illuminated 25 feet (7.6 meters)[6] - 30 feet (9.1 meters) radius and created dim light for 30 feet (9.1 meters) more. With lowered lantern hood, its light only reached 5 feet (1.5 meters).[1]
Creation[]
Lanterns of revealing could be created by experienced wondrous item crafters and the use of invisibility purge spell.[6]
