Larry Elmore is a prolific fantasy illustrator, who has produced work for many settings. He was the author of "SnarfQuest Tales", a comic series of Dragon magazine.
Education[]
Elmore received his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Western Kentucky.
Career[]
After doing freelance work for various fantasy magazines, Elmore was hired by TSR, Inc. in 1981 to illustrate sourcebook covers. He also illustrated novel covers for the Dragonlance setting.
In 1987, Elmore returned to freelance work and has contributed art for the covers of books, magazines, and video games published by a wide range of companies. He has also authored some of his own works, such as Runes of Autumn and the Sovereign Stone series.
