Lesser globe of invulnerability, also known as minor globe of invulnerability, was a spell that was a less powerful version of globe of invulnerability.[2]
Effects
For up to one minute, as long as the caster kept concentrating, the spell created a shimmering fixed spherical barrier centered on the caster that cancelled the effects of any spell that was originally less powerful than this spell.[2]
Components
In addition to verbal and somatic components, the spell required a material component, a bead made from crystal or glass. The bead shattered when the spell expired.[2]
History
The spell was invented by the Netherese arcanist Trebbe in −2261 DR. It was originally called Trebbe’s minor invulnerability.[1] It was one of the spells listed in Bowgentle's Book.[9]
