Lordan the Pure was an adventuring cleric of Lathander in the mid-to-late 14th century DR.[1]

Lordan was young-looking, with a full, brown beard.[1]

He was an adventurer.[1]

Relationships[]

Farrish was his master.[2]

The adventuring party he was a part of in Freedale included him alongside Beldar, Delvar, Silverleaf Halfmoon, Morganth and Slinker.[1]

History[]

Before becoming an adventurer, Lordan had apprenticed with Farrish.[2]

Lordan the Pure was part of an adventuring group in Freedale that may have rescued Taran Goldenstar, recovered the Orb of dragonkind, faced Gunter Weiss in Harrow Hill, and perhaps explored Azazabus' dungeon under Mount Dread.[1]

The adventuring party he was a part of in Freedale included him alongside Beldar, Delvar, Silverleaf Halfmoon, Morganth, and Slinker.[1]

Appendix[]

Background[]

Lordan the Pure is one of the sample adventurers provided for play with Introduction to Advanced Dungeons & Dragons. An identical sheet was introduced in First Quest. In both sheets, Dragonlance art is reused. Inside the book itself, the illustrations for Quest are drawn by Jeff Butler, and by Walter Velez in Introduction.

Notes[]

  1. Lordan's solo picture is used in a situation that strongly implies that is also Klaus, a different cleric in Harrow Hill. It is assumed by context that it can only be a picture of Lordan.
  2. Though left unstated in his character sheet, the fact he answers to a cleric of Lathander renders it a foregone conclusion that he himself is of the same faith.
