Lorgyn was a malaugrym of the mid–14th century DR.[2]
History
In 1358 DR, Bralatar and Lorgyn managed to find a new gate to Faerûn. There, they discovered that the Great Foe of the malaugrym, Elminster Aumar, had been killed during the second battle of Shadowdale. So instead Bralatar and Lorgyn went to Sembia to collect magic from the wizards of that land. There they killed the wizard Mortoth and ran into their fellow malaugrym Lunquar, who was busy killing local Zhentarim. They decided to check Elminster's tower, hoping to find the secrets of Malaug.[2] Back at the Tower of Mortoth however Bralatar was killed by a sudden attack of Irendue Nuen-tar, the most promising apprendice of Mortoth.[3] Lorgyn was so impressed by Irendue that decided to spare her.[4] So he decided to collect mages and went to Tilverton to find the new members of his collection.[5]
Relationship
Lorgyn had a close bond with his fellow malaugrym Bralatar and they always acted together.[2]
