  • Apollo, a member of the Olympian pantheon, had the instrument as his holy symbol[10] and owned a unique magical lyre[11] that was fashioned for him by his fellow Olympian Hermes.[12]
  • Bonnie Harper, a member of the bardic group Adagio Jones and The Goodwinds, had a lyre that she played for soft songs.[13]
