Meltharond was a once-powerful wizard-ruler[1] and former consort and companion of the white dragon Arveiaturace.[3]
Relationships[]
At some point in their relationship, Meltharond was considered to be Arveiaturace's master. The white dragon served as his aerial steed, and he instructed her in the arcane arts.[1] They became close friends,[2] lovers,[3] and in fact, Meltharond was the only being that Arveiaturace ever truly confided to.[2]
History[]
Meltharond was once the ruler of Ice Peak, a frigid island south of the Sea of Moving Ice.[1]
He died at some point during or before the Year of the Tankard, 1370 DR,[3] but his body stayed with Arveiaturace for over a century afterwards. The white dragon refused to accept Meltharond's death, and his frigid remains were bound to his saddle strapped on her back.[2][5]
