Mend-nets was a warrior of the Ice Hunters tribe that made their home on Oyaviggaton during the late 15th century DR.[1]
Personality[]
He was a rather untrusting individual that held a distinct distaste for the monstrous creatures that laired within his tribe's icy island-home. He detested the kobolds that laired within the isle's cave network, loathed its community of revolting ice toads, and became completely frightened by its ravenous ice troll denizens.[1]
History[]
Sometime during or before the 1480s DR,[note 1] Mend-nets became infected with some sort of disease. He was segregated from the rest of his tribes in the monster-filled caves that wound throughout Oyaviggaton,[1] to both keep him warm and help protect his fellow Ice Hunters.[2]

Notes[]
- ↑ Canon material does not provide a year for the Tyranny of Dragons storyline, but in a forum post, Greg Marks stated it was set in 1489 DR. However, the events of the Tyranny of Dragons are discussed in the novel Archmage, which is set in 1485/1486 DR and has events that necessarily put it after The Rise of Tiamat. Since this inconsistency has not been cleared up, this wiki will use the vague term "1480s DR" for events related to this storyline, though it is most likely no latter than 1486 DR.
