- In 1357 DR, Amelior Amanitas and his manservant Erek embarked on a journey across the North in an elemental-powered flying machine at the request of Elminster.[1][2]
- In 1370 DR, a second area of Tyrantfog appears in Tethyr. The strength that it grants the Knights of the Black Gauntlet allows them to conquer the town of Kzelter in less than three days.[3]
