Moo Kalai was a carp hengeyokai barbarian in the Nam Tso lake in Tabot in the mid–14th century DR.[1]

Circa 1357 DR, Moo lived with his brothers and sisters in Nam Tso, typically swimming in its deep waters and hibernating in winter. He sometimes visited the markets at Bidnop So to trade rice and opals from the lake bed for things the carps couldn't manufacture.[1]

He had a very short stature, large eyes, and pale skin. He shaved his head smooth like the Tabotan lamas. He was very careful and was never seen eating or sleeping by humans.[1]
