Mordenkainen's encompassing vision was an uncommon spell which increased a caster's vision. [1]

Effects[edit | edit source]

When cast, the visual ability of the caster increased greatly. It allowed the caster to have a full 360-degree view. Additionally, it was able to function alongside infravision, ultravision, and X-ray vision. If this spell was cast with the detect invisibility spell, the caster was able to see invisible creatures, as well as astral and ethereal creatures.[1]

Components[edit | edit source]

In addition to verbal and somatic components, the spell required a material component: a special crystal disk with eight eyes carved into it.[1]
