Mount Gommat was the tallest peak in the Marching Mountains. It was the site of the famous Axemarch Stone.[1]
Description[]
Mt. Gommat was one of the interior mountains of the range. Its summit was 8,500 feet above sea level, and it was devoid of trees after 7,200 feet. In winter, the snows would rarely descend below 6,600 feet.[1]
History[]
Circa −5960 DR, dwarves summited the mountain and placed the Axemarch Stone at the founding of the High Shanatar.[2]
