Mulhessen was a small town in Sembia.[1]
Geography[]
The town was located north of Saerloon along Belduuk Road where it met the Way of the Manticore between Selgaunt to the east and Daerlun to the west.[1][2] The stretch of Belduuk Road leaving Mulhessen northward to Saerb was locally known as "Rattlebones Ride".[3]
History[]
In the Year of Lightning Storms, 1374 DR, Mulhessen pledged loyalty to Saerloon, after its armies and shades of Thultanthar ravaged and conquered the city of Ordulin.[4]
Inhabitants[]
- Aldeguth, a notable mage.[5]
- Baerann Kordeemur, a renowned composer of Mulhessen, believed by many to be the best among his peers as of the 15th century DR.[6]
- Ormsel Eltunarr, a caravan-master and member of the Harpers.[7]
Appendix[]
Background[]
Mulhessen was left intentionally vague in published material, and the town was given as an example in the 2nd edition Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting of a place intended to be elaborated upon by DMs.[8]
