House Nandar was a noble family of Waterdeep in the 14th century DR. The family business consisted of house and bridge construction.[1]

Organization[]

As of Year of Wild Magic, 1372 DR, Chostal Nandar was the patriarch of House Nandar. Unmarried and without children, his heir was expected to be his younger brother, Horingar "Elfslayer" Nandar.[2]

Base of Operations[]

The Nandar villa was located in the North Ward, between Whaelgond Way and Brondar's Way.[3][4][5][6]

The Nandar family owned a lodge in the Ardeep Forest, but as of 1372 DR, it had been abandoned.[2]

History[]

The Nandar family was of Illuskan descent, and had been ennobled in the Year of the Tomb, 1182 DR.[2]

Baelrun Nandar was head of House Nandar from 1357 DR until at least 1368 DR.[7] He was married to Berlie Nandar, and the recognized heir in 1368 DR was Chostal Nandar, their grand-nephew.[1]

Chostal had ascended to the role of head of the noble family by 1372 DR, but remained unmarried.[2]
