Nat was a street urchin from Waterdeep in the late 15th century DR.[1]

Nat was tall and skinny for her age. She was deaf and communicated with her friends by using a sign language that she invented.[1]

She carried a wooden toy sword.[1]

Nat led the group of street urchins that included her friends Jenks and Squiddly.[1] The three of them call themselves the Ragamuffins.[2][note 2]

In the late 15th century DR, Nat and her friends were unwittingly entangled in the city-wide hunt for the Stone of Golorr, sometimes innocently helping or hindering the efforts of adventurers in retrieving it.[3]

  1. Canon material does not provide a year for the events described in Waterdeep: Dragon Heist, but Christopher Perkins answered a question via Twitter and stated the year was 1492 DR. Unless a canon source contradicts this assertion, this wiki will use 1492 DR for events related to this sourcebook and Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage (which is referenced on pages 5 and 98 of Dragon Heist).
  2. The three kids are described or named as "Ragamuffins" in design sketches, as shown in this episode of Dragon Talk.
