Navril's History of the Parsnip was a common book dedicated to the history of parsnips, a noble root vegetable, penned by Navril sometime before the late 14th century DR.[1]
History[]
By the Year of Rogue Dragons, 1373 DR, the fortress library of Candlekeep had several copies of Navril's History of the Parsnip and many visitors continued bringing more copies as their entrance gifts. However, the library's monks always rejected "old Navril" in favor of some regional collections of songs and minstrels' sayings.[1]
