Neifion was an archfey of the Feywild.[1] His title was the Lord of Bats.[2]
Activities
Neifion was known to enter into fey pacts with warlocks.[3]
Description
Neifion appeared as a thin, bald, and pale human male with narrow squinting eyes and pointed ears. In this form, he wore drab black clothes.[1] However, his true form was a giant long-limbed humanoid covered in ratty fur, with huge leathery wings and a mouth full of large teeth.[4]
History
Neifion walked on Toril during the Days of Thunder.[5]
He entered into a fey pact with the warlock Japheth Donard, who stole the pact stone and imprisoned Neifion in Darroch Castle.[6] In order to escape, Neifion sought the aid of Behroun Marhana and Malyanna.[7]
Abilities
Neifion could:
- Summon and control bats, and
- Conjure restraining vines, similar to the warlock spell thirsting tendrils.[citation needed]
