The Night Castle, also known as Blacknight Manor,[note 1][2] was a ruined fortification used by the Cult of the Dragon during the mid−14th century DR.[1]
Location[]
It was situated southeast of the city of Elversult, some ways north of the nameless swamp.[2]
Structure[]
The Night Castle was once a many-towered fortress before falling to ruin.[1]
History[]
During the mid–14th century DR, the Maces of Elversult repeatedly chased Dragon Cult assassins back to the Night Castle, only to have it become shrouded in complete darkness.[1]
Inhabitants[]
The ruined castle was the home of Indith Shalla,[2] a Sharran leader within the local Dragon cult,[3] as well as a haven of the cell's leader, the black Dracolich Hethcypressarvil.[1]
