Niwa Onshi was a samurai member of the Niwa clan and shugodai of Kuda in Kozakura in 1357 DR.
Activities[]
Onshi lived in Kuda where he had his office. He led three hundred samurai and one thousand bushi. Often, however, Onshi was busy at Tamanokuni or at the bakufu capital.[1]
Relationship[]
Onshi was a cousin of Niwa Hirotada. He was also head of the Niwa no Kuda branch of Niwa.[1]
