Friar Nolan was a priest from Caer Corwell in the Moonshae Isles in the mid–14th century DR.[1]
Description[]
The friar was a short fat man with a bald head.[1]
Personality[]
Friar Nolan was a kind, benevolent shepherd of his flock. Being a believer in the gods of the Faerûnian pantheon, Friar Nolan felt the wild revelry of the Moonshae druids was blasphemous.[1]
History[]
During the Festival of the Spring Equinox in the Year of the Saddle, 1345 DR,[2] Nolan set up a white tent near the druid grove in Caer Corwell to preach the existence of gods other than the Earthmother.[1] Despite his difference of opinion, Nolan protected the druid Robyn from Kazgaroth during the Beast's siege of Caer Corwell, suffering grievous injuries in the fight.[3]
