Nyriana Greenglade was a elf priest of Amaunator in the late 14th century DR.[1][note 1][note 2]
“
May your day be bright, wanderer! I welcome you in the name of Amaunator, god of the sun and bringer of light.
”
— Nyriana[1]
Description[]
Nyriana had long, straight gray hair, gray eyes, and light skin. She wore a neat suit of chain mail decorated with the symbology of Amaunator.[1]
History[]
In the Year of Lightning Storms, 1374 DR, Nyriana joined the Elves of Cormanthor at their forward camp outside the ruins of Myth Drannor. Nyriana sought to provide healing and respite for those who arrived at the camp and used it as a base for expeditions into the dangerous ruins, and set up a makeshift shrine to Amaunator in a tent.[1]

Notes[]
- ↑ Magic of Myth Drannor is dated to 1374 DR, as it seems to take place during Ilsevele Miritar's Elven Crusade, shortly before its arrival at Myth Drannor.
- ↑ Though this precedes Amaunator's public succession of Lathander by more than a decade, Amaunator was still worshiped at the time, such as through the Risen Sun heresy. She could also simply be very, very old-fashioned in her theology.
