Orcaheart was the village champion of the Ice Hunters that dwelled on the isle of Oyaviggaton circa the 1480s DR.[1][note 1]
Activities[]
At times, the Ice Hunters' chieftain Barking Seal would propose duels between Orcaheart and wandering outlands that stepped upon their island home. If Orcaheart won, the outsiders would have to offer up some of their finer weapons, especially those made of steel. If he lost, his opponent and their companions were welcome to the village, and offered food and shelter. Orcaheart was often offered assistance in the form of healing magic but the village shaman Bonecarver.[2]

Notes[]
- ↑ Canon material does not provide a year for the Tyranny of Dragons storyline, but in a forum post, Greg Marks stated it was set in 1489 DR. However, the events of the Tyranny of Dragons are discussed in the novel Archmage, which is set in 1485/1486 DR and has events that necessarily put it after The Rise of Tiamat. Since this inconsistency has not been cleared up, this wiki will use the vague term "1480s DR" for events related to this storyline, though it is most likely no latter than 1486 DR.
