Othla Multar was a sage from the city of Spandeliyon in Altumbel in the mid-to-late 14th century DR.[1][2]
Othla Multar studied the legends of Adhe Wood in the Vast and theorized that the many mutant spiders there were bred by drow, who released them to guard their passage to the local Underdark, from which they occasionally emerged and crossed into the Tsurlar Forest to trade with pirate vessels that anchored in hidden coves.[1][2]
