The Parched Mamluk Society, also known as the Parched, was a military organization in Zakhara.[1]

The Parched was one of the smallest mamluk organizations in Zakhara. They were dedicated to a single task: to ensure the security of Talab's water supply. They were in charge of maintaining the system of aqueducts that brought the water from the distant Al-Sayaj Mountains[1] along Al-Muti River.[2]

The Parched were led by Akbara Abd al-Yahruq, the Most Respected Warrior.[1] There was 900 mamluks in the Parched in 1367 DR.[note 1][2]
Base of Operations[]
Talab was the center of operations for the Parched.[1]
