The pendant of silence was a peculiar magical pendant found in Myth Drannor during the late 14th century DR.[1][note 1]
Powers[]
The pendant muted and dampened sounds around the wearer, granting them either sweet quiet or maddening silence. It protected them from sonic blasts and negated audible threats like shout and soundburst which could stun or disorient. If the wearer was physically struck, the pendant could inflict silent music upon them, forcing them to dance helplessly.[1]
History[]
The pendant may have been found when the Elves of Cormanthor investigated the Onaglym, searching for the phylactery of Droic Orgul.[1]
