Phalar Aluve was inscribed with a pattern that glowed gold when the sword was drawn. Part of the inscription featured a single line written in the drow language.[1]

History[]
As of the Year of Three Ships Sailing, 1492 DR, the sword remained embedded in a stone outcropping in the Underdark, near Ebonlake Grotto.[1]
