Phantom panthers were unearthly and dangerous feline creatures that resembled ghostly panthers. They were fearsome opponents but could be bound via magic into servitude.[1]
Description[]
A phantom partner was a large panther with an eerie, ghostly appearance, almost incorporeal, its eyes glowing with an orange radiance. Despite their delicate appearance, they could move as fast and be as corporeal as any living panther.[1]
Abilities[]
When a phantom partner moved, it left a phantasmic wake—a path glowing with ghostly flames that sapped enemies' physical strength, speed and dealt damage. When an adventurer managed to bind a phantom panther to them through magical means, the creature also boosted its master's awareness and accuracy.[1]
History[]
Phantom panthers were known to have been used by some of the well-off adventurers in service of Neverwinter in the late 15th century DR.[1]
