The Pierced Naval was a tattoo shop in the Central Port of Skullport in the late 14th century DR.[1]
Structure[]
The Pierced Naval was a one-story building in squalid condition.[1]
Services[]
The Pierced Naval provided tattoos and piercings to paying customers. However, it was widely regarded as the poorest-quality business of its kind in Skullport, with an unhygienic and plague-ridden reputation. Each piercing cost 1 gp, while the rates for a tattoo were charged by the square inch, usually 1 gp per square inch (6.5 cm2). This rate doubled if the tattoo required intricate detailing.[1]
Inhabitants[]
Circa 1370 DR, the owners of The Pierced Naval were the Scabaros sisters, "Stabbem" and "Doodles". Doodles was known for her tattoo work, though she had a tendency to add unsolicited embellishments to her designs. Stabbem attempted to promote an unusual form of piercing that involved the use of large nails.[1]
