Pins was an imp and member of the Knucklebones Gang in Avernus in the late 15th century DR.[1]

Pins was shrewd and lazy and disgusted when given more responsibility.[1]
History[]
Pins and Needles came to serve Mad Maggie after she made a deal with a pit fiend.[1]
They played a prank on the madcap named Wazzik,[1] possibly splashing rainbow-colored paint on the madcap,[2] and Wazzik and its friends plotted revenge.[1][2]
Relationships[]
Pins and Needles served Mad Maggie, who treated them with such kindness that they would not work for anyone else. While in her presence, they tended to take the form of ravens and nest in the hag's hair or on her shoulders.[1]
Activities[]
Pins and Needles loitered around Fort Knucklebone, monitored the Blood War, and spied on Mad Maggie's rivals.[1]
They had no interest in ascending the infernal hierarchy.[1]
