Pixie dust was a common spell used by clerics.[1]
Effects[]
When cast, a fine powder was created. It was tossed into the air, and every creature and object within 10 ft (3 m) became invisible. The creatures were then invisible to sight and detection, even magically assisted such as using a detect invisibility spell. Creatures were able to move and go into combat while invisible.[1]
The dust had to be used immediately after being created. The length of time creatures and objects were invisible for was determined by the caster's skill level. Creatures and objects made invisible with the dust were vulnerable to exposure if dust of appearance or true seeing spells were used against them.[1]
The reverse of this spell was revealing dust. Like pixie dust, it was tossed into the air and every invisible creature and object within 10 ft (3 m) became visible.[1]
Components[]
In addition to verbal and somatic components, the spell required material components: the holy symbol of the caster and some dirt from a garden within the Seelie Court.[1]
