Potion is a catch-all term for a liquid brewed by an alchemist or spellcaster with an intended magical or extraordinary effect. Probably most common are the various potions of healing wherein those with the ability to do so channel positive energy into a mixture that can heal the wounds of the imbiber. Many temples use such potions to generate revenue for the upkeep of the building and any other expenses that may crop up.
