Psionic teleport,[1] also known simply as teleport,[3][4] was a psionic science of the psychoportation discipline that allowed a manifester to instantly travel to a safe location.[1][3][4]
Effects[]
The safe location needed to be a place the manifester knew and was familiar with. This could work even with a place the manifester had only seen with their mind by using other psionic powers. A manifester was able to teleport even if gagged or restrained, so long as they were conscious. A slight audible popping noise occurred when the manifester disappeared and reappeared during the teleportation. The manifester could choose to expend more psychic energy in order to teleport their equipment, or any companions they can grab, up to three times their body mass. Longer distances also required an expenditure of more psychic energy.[3][4]
Users[]
While originally available to all manner of psionicists,[3][4] in the decades following the Time of Troubles it was found to be exclusive to nomads, psions who specialized in psychoportation,[1] as well as ardents and divine minds who followed the freedom mantle.[2]
This power was commonly exhibited by couatl.[6][7]
