Pterosaurs had a long neck, up to 10 ft (3 m) in length, and massive jaws. Their lower jaw lacked any teeth.
Pterosaurs attacked prey from above. They dived down and swooped up their prey in the clawed feet. They were capable of carrying off prey up to four times greater in weight.
Pterosaurs were carnivorous and solitary creatures. Pterosaurs were also carrion eaters.
