Qoha'dar was a Bedine witch that was exiled from her tribe and lived her life in relative isolation at the Sister of Rains oasis in the mid–14th century DR.[2][1]

Personality[]

While she could be dour at times,[3] Qoha'dar was an attentive caregiver that equipped her ward for the struggles of living in the harsh climate of Anauroch.[1]

Possessions[]

Like other mages, Qoha'dar had a spellbook from which she honed her arcane powers. It remained at the ruins at Sister of Rains for years following her death.[4]

Relationships[]

While Qoha'dar was exiled from her people for being what they referred to as a "witch", she did not spend her entire life alone at the oasis. When the child Ruha demonstrated an affinity for arcane magic and was sent away by her father Sheikh Sabkhat, Qoha'dar agreed to adopt the girl and raise her to survive as an outcast.[1]

History[]

During their life at Sister of Rains, helped Ruha hone her magical powers, focusing primarily on sand and wind magic.[1] For years, the two lived together in isolation, with only the company of the other to count on.[5]

The senior Qoha'dar died when Ruha was sixteen years old, but her life lessons remained with her adopted ward for years to follow.[1]
