Rary's telepathic bond was a divination spell that formed a telepathic link to let allies communicate.[1]
Effect
When cast, the spell forged a telepathic bond among intelligent, willing creatures, each creature linked to all the others. The creatures could communicate telepathically through the bond, regardless of language. No special power or influence was established as a result of the bond, and once it was formed, it worked over any distance (although not from one plane to another).[1]
A wish spell could make a Rary's telepathic bond permanent, but it could bond only two people per wish.[citation needed]
Components
The spell required verbal, somatic and material components. The materials required were a piece of eggshell from two different species of creature.[1]
History
The spell was attributed to the Oerthly archmage Rary the Traitor.[2]
