"Gunne Runner" is a short story by Roger E. Moore that appeared in the Realms of Magic anthology of stories from the Forgotten Realms, published in December 1995.
Summary[]
In Waterdeep, the wizard Formathio and watch captain Ardrun investigate the murder of the Yellow Mage and uncover a smokepowder-weapon smuggling operation. They find it's connected to a small scro spelljamming fleet that arrived in Realmspace and is and trading firearms to humanoid races in Faerûn through contacts in Waterdeep.
