The Region of Dreams was a plane coterminous with the Prime Material plane, to which mortal beings traveled out-of-body whenever they dreamed.[1] Its nature was debated among scholars, some holding it to be a demiplane[2] or other component of the Ethereal Plane,[3] while others considered it an astral dominion.[2]
The Region of Dreams was said to be coterminous with the Demiplane of Nightmares.[4]
