Reitheillaethor or Rheitheillaethor (rye-thigh-way-eh-thor) was a wood elf village of 640 in the High Forest, on the banks of the Heartblood River.[3][1]

History[edit | edit source]

In 1374 DR it was ruled by Lady Morgwais. On Ches 1, 1374 DR, Rheitheillaethor was attacked by daemonfey and orcs under their control. They overwhelmed the defenses and drove out the guard.[2]

Structure[edit | edit source]

It consisted of numerous buildings and shelters on the forest floor, but most of the elves lived in the branches of the weirwood and shadowtop trees.[4] The weirwoods were magically protected against fire.[5]

Inhabitants[edit | edit source]

The village's inhabitants continually changed as elves moved in and out from other areas of the forest. Patrols were maintained to watch over the eastern part of the forest and the Dire Wood to the south.[1]
