Robert Lazzarettii (also credited as Rob Lazzaretti) is an American fantasy cartographer. He took up strategy gaming during high school, and attended Lincoln College and Illinois State University.[1]
He took up a path to Game Designers Workshop and took to map illustration mainly because nobody else in his department enjoyed the role. He moved to TSR in 1993 and ended up at Wizards of the Coast after the 1997 acquisition.[1]
Due to budget cuts in the years that followed, Lazzaretti was forced into a freelance career, and regularly contributes for Paizo Publishing and Hasbro Games.[1]
