The Royal Harim of Huzuz, or simply the Royal Harim, was part of the complex of the Palace of the Enlightened Throne in Huzuz in 1367 DR.[note 1][1]
Description[]
The Royal Harim was one of the largest sections of the palace. It contained dormitories, beautiful gardens, and opulent suites.[1]
Inhabitants[]
The Royal Harim was the home to the Grand Caliph's many wives and concubines as well as their slaves, servants, and guards[1]—numbering over 3,000 occupants.[2]
Rumors and Legends[]
A secret tunnel, known only to the inhabitants of the harim, was used to escort men into the harim. The men were usually dressed as women.[1]
