Sam E. Wood is a prolific fantasy illustrator whose art fills many Dungeons & Dragons sourcebooks.

Wood was originally from Alaska. He attended Harvard University.
Career[]
Wood began working for Wizards of the Coast in 1995 and has worked on illustrations for many gaming systems. He has collaborated with Todd Lockwood on multiple projects.
He now resides in Seattle, Washington, and is self-employed.
