Semphar was the mightiest nation in the Hordelands.[1] It was a satrap of the Tuigan Khahan.
Semphar strove to be independent but was subjugated by four different realms in its history, specifically the Imaskari, Mulhorand, the Shou Lung and most recently the Tuigan. This subjugation though, guaranteed that Semphar gained several beneficial cultural aspects.
History
The first dwarves in Faerûn settled beneath Semphar.[2]
Geography
Semphar was known for its ruins, lost tombs, and strange monsters. Bordering it were the ruins of Raudor and Bhaluin, the dark forest of the Shalhoond, and the monsters of the Howling Gap. Perhaps there are even more wonders to be found throughout the land.
