Serpentes, which translated to "nation of serpents", was an ancient kingdom founded by Sseth, the World Serpent, in -304 DR.[1][2]
Geography[]
The kingdom reached from the Peaks of Flame in the west to the Mhair Jungles in the east, encompassing what would later be known as Chult, Thindol, Samarach, and Tashalar.[1]
History[]
Many of the human cultures inhabiting the regions that would become known as Serpentes were enslaved and transformed into histachii. Sseth disappeared beneath the Peaks of Flame several centuries after the founding of Serpentes, leading to the kingdom's rapid decline by 10 DR.[1][2]
