Shadow veil was a spell used commonly in Zakhara, the Land of Fate. This spell was only usable by wizards.[1][2]
Effects[]
With this spell the caster could cloak many targets in darkness, allowing them to move silently and invisibly under normal light and infravision. The number of targets affected by this spell, and the duration, depended on the skill of the caster. Natural sunlight would also instantly dispel the spell.[1][2]
History[]
Jann favored this spell when attacking in force, aligning their forces before their enemy to have them instantly appear at dawn with the rising sun.[1][2]
Components[]
In addition to verbal and somatic components, this spell required a panther's paw, a black owl feather, and an opal worth at least 500 gold to cast.[1][2]
