Shanties for the Bitch Queen was a collection of sea shanties dedicated to Umberlee.[1]
Description
This worn blue book was compiled to honor the goddess of the sea, Umberlee. It contained three main shanties, one starting with "And we all row!", another with "Wavemother, wavemother", and the third with "Souls aweigh and anchors still!".[1]
History
After fishers of the Western Heartlands were attacked in the 15th century DR, this collection of verses lay on a wooden dock near the shore.[1]
