These dark cloaks blessed by divine magic of Shar allowed their wearers to bathe the an area in unnatural darkness three times per day. Additionally, it gave the boon of darkvision to their owners.[1]
History[]
Shar's Embrace was one of the somewhat common magic items sold by the Church of Shar to allowed the goddess' fitful to embrace the powers of the Mistress of the Night. One of the places where one could purchase these items in 1374 DR was the temple of Shar in Westgate's Undergate, The Dark Lady's Promise, created by the High Priestess Velisha.[1]
