The Shattershield family of dwarves was the only non-human patriar family of Baldur's Gate. They were an institution in the city, so much so that they had earned the same level of elitism and snobbishness as the Gate's human families.[2]
Relationships[]
The Baldurian Shattershields were distantly related to Clan Shattershield, the dwarves that built the old realm of Sarbreen in the Vast.[1]
History[]
The Shattershields were heavily involved in the construction of the Gate's old walls, during the city's formative years.[1]
Notable Members[]
- Bronzwin Shattershield, an adventuring warrior in the 14th century DR.[3]
- Rugger Shattershield, a member of the Parliament of Peers of Baldur's Gate in the 15th century DR.[4]
